Franklin Mountains State Park

Everyone begins somewhere, and my journey began in my home city of El Paso. I was lucky enough to be born and raised in a city that has the second largest park located inside the city limits. As I started, all I had to do was drive a couple minutes and I would be at the bottom of the Mountains. The Franklin Mountains allowed me to learn at my own pace, without having to worry about the consequences if I got my settings wrong or I made a mistake. I have now hiked the Mountains more than ten times, each time being different and memorable in its own way.
