The Grand Canyon

This was one of my shortest trips I have ever taken, yet it was one of my most dangerous and satisfying I have ever been able to be a part of. We all know of the Grand Canyon, so I will not bore you with all the geological and natural history. I will say that my trip was only one day, and we decided to probably do one of the hardest hikes on an extremely hot day. To add to that, we were already tired from the hike the day before, which was 14 miles. We were exhausted by the end of the day and things did not go as planned. But what I learned that day was that the best plans are the once that don’t go as expected, that’s what makes them an adventure.
