Zion National Park

Zion National Park

What a wild ride it has been traveling to arguably one of the most popular National Parks in the United States. I was able to enjoy Zion twice now. Both trips were only a month apart, but they both were vastly different experiences. My first time in Zion very much felt like spring- it was cooler in the mornings, so having a good down jacket was a good idea, but the later the day became, the hotter it was going up into Angel’s Landing. At a certain point, just a shirt was mandatory because of the heat, while on the second trip, we had a record winter storm come in during spring break. Large jackets with water resistance was mandatory because of just how cold it got and how much snow was falling. Our shuttle driver told us that it was his first time having the shuttles open with so much snow fall in the middle of March. Both experiences I learned a lot, not just about traveling through Utah and seeing all the beautiful National Parks, but as well of myself. I hope one day soon, I can visit again and enjoy Zion to its fullest.
