Valley of Fire State Park

A small but mighty state park known for it’s beautiful rock formations. Located in the state of Nevada and only a short drive from Las Vegas, Valley of Fire is a must visit if you’re in the area or your a outdoors park junky like I am. Make sure if your visiting during the summer that you only go either early in the morning or later in the day because the desert heat will quickly dehydrate or worse send you into heat stroke. During summer the temperature is known to go way into the 120 degrees so plan accordingly, even a light hike in the sun will give you a bad sun burn.
